its a double-edge sword. First, there is no excuse for this soldier to commit this crime but at the same time; international laws and internet legalities protect the host site from legal action. At the same time and many soldiers wont say this; this has been going on for almost ten years. Soldiers who havent deployed dont understand the amount of stress and impact this had done to military members. Numerous deployments with no end in sight does affect morale. Yes, there are the many who without gripe will see this through and deploy dozens of times if need be to defeat the war of terror.
I believe another posture can be implemented that will not cost the tax payer money and this country so much money and put the soldier and marine in a compromising positions when it comes to the rules and engagement.
Afghanistan should have been the focus with 110% commitment since 9/11.
I will go to combat and do what my country asks but not necessarily agree on the manner they are going about it. I swore an oath but as soldier's from Captain and below; you never get the bird's eye picture.
Rant over and out lol
