I don't need the stuff either, fortunately.

I did a 4 miler yesterday. Walking of course. I timed myself at just under 45 minutes in relatively easy terraine with some hills & woods to go through but relatively mild. I was sucking air but not nearly as much as I thought I would. It helps that I totally quit smoking which was only a bit better than a pack a week or 3 cigars or a combination. The Doc didn't think that was a factor at all. Today I plan on metal detecting. A mild sport but lots of bending, kneeling & the hard part - getting up again! A great Old Fart with afflictions activity!!

I told the doc that I thought the stuff would be like putting jet fuel in a lawn mower
    The walking is great.
It would seem my being in an upright position is causing my spells. My heart rate is low and blood is not getting to the brain, I shut down, go down and then blood gets to the brain and I'm back. I've been wearing "man-t-hose" while on my mail routes. It's supposed to keep the blood up north. Not sure if it works as well as they are hyping it up. Maybe doc will give his 2 cents.
The Dr's are reluctant to give me something for my thyroid just yet. Guess they want to make sure they're right about everything else.
